It is a five-storey building, situated in the very heart of the historical and business centre of Smolensk. The hotel was built in 1961 and renovated in 2006. It is one of the most comfortable hotels in the city. Next to the hotel you will find the main showplaces of Smolensk, museums, monuments, the Assumption Cathedral, the drama theatre etc.
There are 135 rooms in the hotel. All of them are decorated in modern European style. A french cafe which sits 80 persons and a cozy restaurant for 40 seats and a VIP lounge are on the first floor.
